Five days in Barcelona

Photography has always been something I have come back to again and again, so I decided that it was probably time to incorporate my photographs into my writing. I have been shooting on a Pentax MZ-60 for almost a year now, and I absolutely love it. I was a little apprehensive about using a fully-automatic electronic SLR; I have been very much used to shooting on a completely manual SLR or a DLSR. The camera was given to me as a gift and so after hours trailing through the internet trying to find a manual, I finally worked out what batteries it needed and kitted myself out with some 35mm film just in time for my trip to Barcelona last summer. Thankfully the camera was fully functioning (despite years of being unused) and I was really pleased with some of the photographs that came from the 4 rolls of film I shot. I have picked some of my favourites and put them together in a short series. All images are my own and are unedited.

Enjoy!

Renting Dutch bicycles was the best thing we did, we got to see so much more of the city than we would have by foot
