Summer works across digital marketing, PR and corporate communications for charitable trust Power to Change. She is passionate about environmental and social issues, and was the first scholar to receive the Crispin Aubrey Legacy Fund whilst she was at university studying journalism. Following graduation and a short time travelling the Pacific Coast, she went on to become a trade journalist before making the move into communications and public relations.
The proudest moment of Summer’s career was when she had her first article published in The Ecologist, shining a light on the work of Surfers Against Sewage – a charity close to her heart. Outside of work, Summer is an avid reader and enjoys shooting photos on film and spending far too much time binge-watching crime thrillers.
